Dr. Amelia Terenzio is a distinguished nursing leader who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. She holds an MSN as a Nurse Practitioner from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN) from Lehman College in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Amelia was raised in New York City and speaks Spanish and Italian. With a solid foundation in critical care, Amelia became a pioneering nurse practitioner in her specialty, gaining extensive experience in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and interventional cardiology. Her commitment to continuous growth and excellence led her to earn her DNP in 2016, further strengthening her skills in advanced practice nursing and healthcare leadership.

With over 40 years of diverse experience that includes critical care, cardiology, primary care, and nursing leadership, Dr. Amelia is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Her work focuses on improving the quality of life for older adults and other vulnerable populations, reflecting her deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in healthcare.  In her spare time, she loves spending time with her amazing two sons and traveling,
